These results emerge at a time when the U.S. military explores the use of chatbots based on Large Language Models (LLMs) to aid in military project planning, possibly involving companies like Palantir and Scale AI.
OpenAI's Involvement with the U.S. Defense: OpenAI, which had previously restricted the military use of its AI models, has now begun collaborating with the U.S. Department of Defense in examining chatbots based on LLMs. This collaboration potentially includes the expertise of companies like Palantir and Scale AI, although Palantir denies any involvement, and Scale AI has not responded to comment requests.
