It has been reported that during a recent ceremony attended by SAAR CEO Dr. Bashar Al-Malik and Arsenal Group's CEO Paolo Barletta, along with the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Logistics and SAR Engineers, Engineer Saleh Al-Jasser, a contract was signed. The purpose of this agreement, signed on March 15, 2023, is to implement the memorandum of understanding between both parties, enhancing standardized services and additional facilities in the transportation sector.
Saudi Arabia will witness its first luxury train, named 'Rail Cruising,' operating on a 770-mile route from Riyadh to the northern city of Al-Qurayyat, near the border with Jordan.

peaking on the occasion, Al-Jasser stated that for the first time in the Middle East and North Africa region, the introduction of luxury train services in the country will add standard services and additional amenities to the transportation sector. This agreement is one of the initiatives in the field of national practical wisdom for transportation and logistics services, aiming to improve the quality of life and support national practical actions.
In his address, he shed light on the immense and boundless cooperation achieved through intelligent leadership in the transportation and logistics services system. This is done to make the sector capable of achieving its services and developmental projects and initiatives, promoting collaboration and joint integration in the industry. Al-Jasser emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation to create better experiences for those benefiting from transportation models.
It is worth mentioning that the Arsenale Group has invested more than 200 million riyals in the 'Dream of the Desert' train, being an Italian company skilled in luxury hospitality, international hotels, resort management, and luxury travel. The company is currently working on sustainable projects for luxury services through tourist trains with a network of six trains running in Italy."
ریاض سعودی عرب کے صحرا میں پہلی لگژری ٹرین چلانے کا معاہدہ طے پا گیا۔ سعودی گزٹ کے مطابق سعودی عرب ریلوے (SAR) اور لگژری ٹرین سروس کے انتظام میں مہارت رکھنے والے اٹلی کے آرسنیل (Arsenale) گروپ نے مملکت میں ’ڈریم آف دی ڈیزرٹ‘ لگژری ٹرین سروس شروع کرنے پر اتفاق کیا ہے، دی ڈریم آف دی ڈیزرٹ ٹرین میں 40 لگژری کیبن ہوں گے اور زیادہ سے زیادہ 80 مسافروں کی گنجائش ہوگی، یہ ٹرین 2025 کے موسم گرما میں سعودی عرب پہنچے گی، پہلے ادائیگی کرنے والے افراد نومبر 2025ء میں اس پر سفر کرسکیں گے۔
بتایا گیا ہے کہ ایس اے آر کے سی ای او ڈاکٹر بشار المالک اور آرسنیل گروپ کے بورڈ آف ڈائریکٹرز کے سی ای او پاولو بارلیٹا نے حال ہی میں وزیر ٹرانسپورٹ اور سعودی عرب ریلویز (SAR) انجینئرز کے لاجسٹکس اور بورڈ آف ڈائریکٹرز کے چیئرمین انجینئر صالح الجاسر کی موجودگی میں منعقدہ ایک تقریب میں اس سلسلے میں ایک معاہدے پر دستخط کیے، اس معاہدے کا مقصد 15 مارچ 2023ء کو دونوں فریقوں کے درمیان دستخط شدہ مفاہمت کی یادداشت پر عمل درآمد کرنا ہے، سعودی عرب بھر میں "ریل کروزنگ" کے لیے پہلی لگژری ٹرین ریاض سے 770 میل کے روٹ پر چلائی جائے گی جو کہ حائل سے گزرے گی کو القریات کا شمالی شہر ہے جو اردن کی سرحد کے قریب ہے۔
اس موقع پر خطاب کرتے ہوئے الجاسر نے کہا کہ مشرق وسطیٰ اور شمالی افریقہ کے خطے میں پہلی بار مملکت میں لگژری ٹرین خدمات کے آغاز سے سعودیہ میں نقل و حمل کے شعبے میں معیاری خدمات اور اضافی اختیارات شامل ہوں گے، یہ معاہدہ قومی حکمت عملی برائے ٹرانسپورٹ اور لاجسٹکس سروسز کے اقدامات میں سے ایک ہے تاکہ معیار زندگی کو بہتر بنایا جا سکے اور قومی حکمت عملیوں کی حمایت کی جا سکے۔
اپنے خطاب میں انہوں نے اس عظیم اور لامحدود تعاون پر بھی روشنی ڈالی جو ٹرانسپورٹیشن اور لاجسٹکس سروسز کے نظام کو دانشمندانہ قیادت سے حاصل ہوئی ہے تاکہ اس شعبے کو اپنی خدمات اور ترقیاتی منصوبوں اور اقدامات کو حاصل کرنے کے قابل بنایا جا سکے، انہوں نے اس شعبے میں تعاون اور مشترکہ انضمام کو سراہا تاکہ نقل و حمل کے نمونوں کو تیار کیا جا سکے اور ان سے فائدہ اٹھانے والوں کے تجربات کو بہتر بنایا جا سکے۔
یہاں قابل ذکر بات یہ ہے کہ آرسنیل گروپ نے ڈریم آف دی ڈیزرٹ ٹرین میں 200 ملین ریال سے زیادہ کی سرمایہ کاری کی ہے، یہ ایک اطالوی کمپنی ہے جو لگژری مہمان نوازی، بین الاقوامی ہوٹل، ریزورٹ مینجمنٹ اور لگژری ٹریول میں مہارت رکھتی ہے، یہ کمپنی اٹلی میں چلنے والی چھ ٹرینوں کے بیڑے کے ساتھ سیاحتی ٹرینوں کے ذریعے لگژری خدمات کے لیے پائیدار منصوبوں پر کام کر رہی ہے۔
